Application: Unscrew the Espresso Machine by firmly holding upper and lower parts and turning them anti-clockwise. Remove the funnel insert. Fill the lower part with water maximally up to the level of the safety valve. Put the funnel back into the lower part and fill ground coffee into it. Using the intermediate sieve you can prepare the half quantity. Take half the amount of water, put the intermediate sieve into the funnel insert and give the reduced amount of powder onto the sieve. Screw the upper and lower parts together again and heat the Espresso Machine (suitable for gas, electric, ceramic and induction hobs). The espresso will rise into the upper container as steam is generated, producing a slight bubbling sound. Once this sound has stopped, the Espresso can be served.
